It was on the auspicious date of 26^th January way back in 2003 that Get Well Charitable Clinic was established; an affiliation of Imamia Medics International, U.S.A.

It is a well known fact that almost half the population of developing countries lives in extreme poverty and are denied basic human rights.

The main challenge that we as a country face is providing access to basic healthcare facilities to rural areas. Deplorable health conditions are mainly due to lack of health education and awareness.

Here are a few facts about India’s Health Infrastructure:

• 27 crore people in 64 districts across 13 states don’t have a single blood bank
• Only 7 doctors per 1000 people
• Just 1833 people per one government hospital bed
• 57.5% of health expenditure is taken care of by individuals and not the state
• Low insurance coverage and poor public health system are two major reasons why even poor go to a private hospital instead of a public hospital for treatment.

Get Well Charitable Clinic was started with the sole aim to provide state-of-the-art medical facilities with world renowned qualified doctors, free health camps and simultaneously offer health education.
